well, the time has come. I am going dslr, and I am getting rid of the old 828. I have loved this camera, and I hope that someone here will be able to love it just as much as I did. Any takers?

With it comes:
1-256mb cf card
1-UV filter
1-crappy 2x teleconverter lens. I purchased this, and hated it, but I can see that it could come in handy for some "artistic" shots.
2-batteries
1-usb cable
1-lenscap
1-circular polarizer filter
1-power cable (battery charger)
1-video cable
1-.5x wide angle converter. This is good glass, but given the design of the 828, it vignettes some. It does come with a macro lens which is excellent.

This package is great for all around shooting. You will be ready to go for just about anything. This camera is in very nice condition, and I still have the original box.

The price I am thinking is $600 for the whole package, plus shipping.

keep in mind that the last camera I sold on here was zoomdak's 717. He has won several ribbons with it, so buying from me is a guaranteed win. lol.

I'd buy it, but I already have one, and love it.

Did you check eBay by any chance? There are people selling just the camera and getting $650 +. You would be crazy to let it go for that cheap with all those accessories. If I had $600 to spair right now, I'd buy it and sell it on eBay.

Don't sell yourself short, The more you get for the camera, the more you can put into your dSLR purchase.

that is my special DPC price. I really like the idea of it going back into good hands. If I don't have any takers by the end of today, I will post it on ebay, but I'm hoping to help some fellow dpc'er get into a good camera.

If I can buy a 20D brand new for under $1500 with the kit lens - I would say WC Fields was right - and he was describing the buyer

well, someone in the market for a $600 camera rather than a $1500 camera might be interested. No reason to go from apples to oranges. Anyway, I'll be ebay'ing in 'bout an hour. last chance for the dpc crowd.

He sold it on ebay but in the future, you can contact people by clicking on their names which brings you to their profile and then sending them a private message.
