Taken on the first day of a two day air show. The sky was not great for taking pictures of an air show and it pushed my camera to it's limit. I have about 100 pictures to go through but most were taken at full zoom hand-held because I was about a mile away from the show unless the aircraft came over head. Hope tomorrow's sky is better because the program shows a flyby of an A10-Warthog, F-15E's, F-18's and the B2 Stealth bomber. Comments welcome as well as the best settings for my camera at an air show. I found out today it is hard.
1. 2. 3.
4. 5. 6.
7.
With all the clouds during the air show about an hour after the sky cleared as you can see.

You used the weather conditions to benefit this picture very well.

He was good. Looks like the same person here. I have a few pictures of him as well. I have a folder for the 2005 pic's in my portfolio and I am going to post more there as I edit. Your picture is great! Wish I knew how to edit well under the low light, cloudy circumstances we had today. |

Number 3 is fantastic.... Very dramatic shot with the plane streaking through that sky. |

Do you ever get the feeling you look at too many photos? I clicked the link to this photo of the guy on the biplane, thinking I'd never seen it before, and I find that it was one I gave a vote of 10 to in the October Free Study.
