I've never tried one of the "cd" shots, but have always like the colors they produce. I finally tried a few versions today for my PAD. First one is my PAD shot and the second one's the outtake. What do you think?

I'm not usually a big fan of the CD shot, but I like both of these. I think I like the outtake a little more than the PAD.

Really like both of these......how did you do them. Haven't tried a CD shot yet.

Thanks. I just laid them on my table, put on both of my halogen work lights and snapped away. I couldn't find my tripod, so these are hand held. If I remember correctly, f/8 , 1/250 at iso 100. Very little post processing done.

What I find to be most interesting about them is that they seem to stand up in a row, they don't feel like lying on a table to me. Nice CD shots, I seldom see interesting shots of this kind, but you've made it. Good composition as well. |

Thanks. It was interesting trying different angles to see how the colors changed. I did very little post processing to this. I was amazed at how the colors turned out.
I wasn't even thinking about the stock photo challenge. It was taken within the right dates, but it's been posted now, so I won't enter. How do you think it might have done?
