I have the Canon Pro 1 which is an 8 megapix camera and want to know the largest print size I can get from it without losing quality ? Any 8 megapixel owners out there that can help ? I take it I would need to set the camera at the highest size settings for starters or resize in photoshop. So if you've done fantastic enlargements I'd love some advice on the correct settings to use to get some great larger size prints ;-)

Lisa,

I've used the 10D (6mp camera) to create 20"x30" prints that looked fine even at a viewing distance of arms length. I just cropped my image to 10"x15", uploaded it to an online print service and ordered the 20x30.

Thanks Kevin, I've heard before that re-sizing using the crop tool is best and easiest method. Wouldn't you re-size using crop at 20" x 30" to get 20" x 30" prints ? Sorry if it's a silly question ,its late here near midnight and I'm ready for bed lol ! I assumed whatever print size you wanted, you used that size with the crop tool ?

Rather than cropping to the actual size I'd have thought cropping to (say) 1:1.5 would be easier?

What's a good online price for a 20X30 print or one slightly smaller?

I'd like to know the answer to that as well ? Actually I have someone enquiring about one of my photos and how much it would cost for the largest size ? So for example I can use this 20x30 size and give them an idea.
Anyone sold these size prints and for how much ?
