Just found out I made it in the March 10th edition of the WSJ, in the Personal Journal section.

I tried online to see it and need a username and password and bugmenot had nothing to get in: Wall Stret Journal online, in the Article Archives, Search for previous WSJ articles text box, type in my name (Brad Petersen) and an article shows up Mechanics Try Online Sales Pitches
(it was an interview I did by phone concerning how we stay in touch with our customers and send out service reminders and CSI surveys after the service all via email, in addition to online appointments)

They are sending me a copy - just wish I could see it now!

w00t!

OK, let's review . . . BradP has 11 ribbons, nicely distributed through the blues, yellows and reds; he owns his own business in a world-class destination of sunshine and beaches; he drives 25 minutes through gorgeous hills to get to his work; it has been said he is incapable of taking a bad photo; he isn't hard on the eyes for us ladies; and now he's frickin' famous to boot.

I am going back to bed and staying there!

Just kidding, Brad - you know we love OUR BradP!!!!

Nope - no pics - was only a phone interview. Have no idea what was published either.

Eh - may want to keep an eye out for the back window instead (away from neighbor's prying eyes).

I certainly see no reason why not, and if it is an issue, it can always be edited back out. I think the only thing that needs to be done is authorship (WSJ) needs to be noted.
Thanks!

In the interest of copyrights, most forums ask that you only post a couple of lines from any article, & then a link to it. Some however ask that you only post links, not sure what DP's stance is ?

Quoted from the Wall Street Journal...

"Customer loyalty to us is everything," says Brad Petersen of Petersen Automotive, a service repair shop in Escondido, Calif., that uses an automated e-mail system from ONstation Corp. to send out service reminders to customers. "If we don't stay on top of technology and what the customer's needs are, it's easy for them to be lured away by a coupon they see for somewhere else," he says.

I'm not going to lie, I considered stalking BradP for a while too...but ultimately, I decided against it. I think he lives far away from me. I'm still a big fan though.
