Butterfly´s attemt is the best one for my opinon. Gets rid of the purple cast but keeps the oldish look and no sugar sweet tricks.

tell us what it is that you are looking for ?
a different background ? what should it be ?
color / black& white /sephia ? wich do you like ?

I agree to a certain extent - don't make it look new, as in fancy diffused lighting, and such, but being able to seee the face would be nice, and not having it magenta too - that's aging of the picture itself. Not the technique in which the picture was shot.

I know the arms are missing.. the layer that had the arms visible was hidden when I saved the picture.. so they just got lost :P
but this was only a first try.. I wanted to know what was wanted before I spend a few hours fixing the picture ;) |

I think this one is the best. I really don't think the trailer needs to be there.

I have to agree with Jacko. The others are nice, but this one has somethign special.

Here is a very quick go with your picture! Not sure if its heading in the direction you want?! So I thought I'd get some feedback before spending any real time on it!
