I had submitted a photo for Lines that I never intended to keep (just wanted to see how it'd look) and got caught up in watching my score in the AA challenge... and completely forgot to unsubmit. Ack! I might just end up following my best ever score with one of my worst. I can't see this snapshot even staying above 4.5 - lol

Oops. Oh well :)

On the flip side, congrats on you're 3rd place shot in AA! :)

i love my current entry for the lines challenge but right now im sitting at a 5.25 with 10 votes and feel really dissappointed. Ah well, maybe it'll get better in the morning.

Congrats on the ribbon mocabela from a fellow G5 user :-)

I'd be happy with 5.25... I wouldn't deserve it because it isn't that good of a photo, but I'd be happy with it! ;)

Congrats on ribboning, then showing that you're only human within the same hour.

P.S.- what's the closest airport to Cannon Beach? ;-)

Bad excuse to bring up the topic of your ribbon...
Aha, just kidding.
Congratulations, that is an awesome picture. :-)

No idea. My photo was taken six hours south of there in Bandon, which is near where I live. I've never been to Cannon Beach. :)

No, I didn't want to hijack this thread so I posted in another thread.

Ooops! Well, if it's that terrible, you may get another ribbon this current week (referring to the brown). I have a photo or two that I WISH I could say I submitted by mistake. Poop happens. If you look at the archives some of the highest-rated photographers on this site, most of them have a doozy or two (I happen to have more). All the better to you that yours wasn't submitted on purpose, huh?
Congrats on the REAL ribbon. I really enjoyed your picture, as did many others, or so I presume by your score.
