Got this brother and sister after church today. What do you think?

Your color cast needs some work.. Too yellow in the first one, too much magenta in the second one. A little bright in the highlights as well.

Having said that, the compositions are nice. You've got a good crop, a couple nice expressions. Keep shooting, and don't feel frightened to really try and learn post-processing :)

Good looking kids. You should get plenty of enjoyable camera time with them.
I tend to like shots that are eye level or perhaps even lower, looking up at them instead of looking down. It brings out more of the charactor.

try maybe getting on their level
adults tend to naturally look down on children, to see them from a different perspective try sitting, laying down, or squatting on the floor.

Lizzie's dress is the same pink as her bows(you didn't know that). Josh looks better. Please explain your color edit.
