hey all, just went to the botanical gardens here in florida. i glimpsed over and saw this tree frog hanging on some bamboo. the sun was too bright so i EV'd -2.0 to compensate. there is still a sharp highlight/bright spot on the top of his head. i've adjusted some contrast but haven't been able to clean it up well enough.. any tips...
have a go at it if you would like, just let me know what you did.

You may wish to look at the tutorial on how to post a thumbnail. I don't think anyone is able to see your treefrog.

I see it just fine. The colours and clarity are excellent. If you want to lose the bright spot, you'll probably have to do it manually with an adjustment layer. It looks like most of the texture is already there, so if you can match the colour well, you should be able to dodge/burn/airbrush and maybe sponge it on.
You might also be able to get away with cloning other areas of the frog into the adjustment layer and then masking it to blend and adjusting transparency so that there's still a bit of a highlight there.
Even a very light airbrush might be enough to tone it down.
Personally, I think it looks good even with the bright spot. |

Does it when I even open the topic, as it tries to make the link live.

you know i think it has something to do with the dns zone files because my parents have never been able to see it from their bellsouth account down in palm beach. maybe the zone files serials are old or something and everyones isp is updating correctly. i'll look into it.
