Well, I decided to venture out today anyway...I was happy.
I thought about this one for best friends, but I couldn't pull the shot off properly. These two were going at it for the whole 20 minutes that I sat crouched against a tree...I ended up using manual focus because even with center AF selected, the lens just kept getting confused with all the branches and everything...
And of course the Jeep...
...
I got this huge speck of something in my viewfinder and didn't know what the heck it was. I took off my lens, looked inside and there was nothing there...a snow drop fell on my mirror, but I figure that doesn't matter much as the mirror falls when I take a shot anyway as long as it wasn't still wet...so I waited a few for it to dry and tried again -- the speck disappeared ... I was thinking it fell on the sensor, and I'd see it when I got home...but nope...it must have been on the bottom end of the lens or something from my gloves. Lesson learned -- let the hands freeze when you change lenses.

David, if you were looking for people to comment, try straight up asking. Personally, I love the bird shots (you can probably guess I'm not a bird person otherwise I'd have said the goose, duck, whatever it actually is :) Anyway the jeep looks professional as well, but a trivial point might be that a pro would consider covering up the tracks or otherwise not let them be seen (but not necessarily so).
