This was going to be my lines entry but I pulled it after talking with SC. They felt it did not fit the within the rules of advanced editing and I felt that maybe case as well thats why I asked before the challenge. [See the system works]. Thanks SC for taking the time to review my entry.

Now I would like to know what others think, what would you have scored it.

Maybe a 5. It is sharp but not very interesting and as far as lines go it is pushing the limit. They are more like dash's

It's amusing to see the speed, but beyond that, and the pleasing colors of the green and orange, it's not what I would look for in a "photograph". Maybe if you had included the dash and a view of the road--especially blurry--that would have scored high in my book. But as is, maybe 4 or 5.

Your approach is creative. Those littles lines mean a lot on the road. But the subject (how you have shot it) doesn't interest me. I would have scored you a 4 or 5.

What was the problem with it? I can see evidence of some work as if the needle (pointing at 0 kph) had been deleted or burnt to (almost) oblivion. Was that it?

Yes, I rotated the needle -118.5 deg using 'free transfer' in PS which was considered moving of a major element.
I'm not complaining. I felt it may be consider 'moving a major element' since the needle was the longest line and the focal point. Thats why I asked the SC to review it. I think the made the right decision.

I can actually see where the needle has been removed there is an orange glow by the 0 indicator. Really bad job removing it though IMO

Either that or it wasn't shot on the autobahn and depicts an illegal activity ;) I'm going with you though and removing/moving/inserting of large/important elements

edited cos I'm a sl o w t y p i s t

You can see that on you monitor without upping your contrast or brightness. If so you must have a very bright monitor. I have mine calibrated and brightness all the way up and I can not see the editing unless I copy the picture in PS and up the brightness to 25% or more. But I didn't want to erase to much because that would be another reason for dq. So I think the editing was OK, just not a wow picture.
However I do thank you for your comment.

I don't think I would have voted it very high (4-5) because I'm hopeing to see or will be looking for lines with more drama. Lines that lead or dazzle the eye will do well in my voting scheme.

I'm not too in love with my own shot as it stands, so I may not enter.
