Hey everyone,

I know this has been talked about before, but i'd like to try another approach at the voting discussion...

First off, i'd like to say that i only vote on challenges that i participate in; i kind of feel responsible to participate in challenges i submit, and i'd like people to take time voting for my work.

That said, i must also say that i've always tried to vote on 50% of the submissions for challenges. Now my new resolution is to Vote on 100% of the submissions, and COMMENT on 100% of those votes.

I usually go at about 40 submissions a day, until i reach the end. NOw my concern is the amount of submissions. They really did increase, especially recently... where when i started here, there were always around 150-200 submission, while today... its more like 250-400... Which kind of gives a hard time on voting and commenting...

I'd like to know if other people feel the same way concerning votes and comments? I really do my best, but this is starting to feel like work rather then pleasure...?

DPC.com... help?

I vote when I have the time. (lately not a lot of that free...) I comment when a shot moves me to. Can't ask anyone else to do more than that...

I just joined, but try to vote on 100%, but I don't comment often it takes long enough to go through all the photos

I try to give more votes and comments then I receive. I comment as a way to relax. I will normally vote a 100% for a challenge, over several days.

Most certainly this will cause burn out very quickly. There is no way anyone could do this for very long.

Please comment on as many as you feel comfortible with, but trying to do all is just to much.....unless its a one time thing, or done very seldom.

With the exception of one challenge, I have voted on every single photo put up since I became a member of DPC on December 8th. As it relates to comments, I leave comments on a small percentage of those, but I do strive to ensure that I leave an explaination in those instance where I left a rather low score. I do so because I find it rather infuriating that someone can leave a 1 score and not bother to explain what it was about the photo that justified such a low score.

Please don't comment on mine. If you do I'll know I got a 1.

But in all seriousness, I couldn't vote on every entry of every challenge. Some challenges I don't vote on at all and others, if they are not pink or white or some other color theme that is hard on my eyes I may vote on 100%. I do as much as seems enjoyable. I don't think anyone wants me voting on their entries if I am not enjoying what I am doing.

I've only entered one challenge so far. I voted on every photo in that challenge. I only comment if I can say something specific that I liked or disliked. We'll see if I can keep it up for all the challenges I enter.

I vote when I feel like voting. If I don't feel like voting, or if I'm in the process of voting (even if I only voted on 3 entries) and I get bored with it, I stop.

I don't think you can vote properly or fairly if you're just not into it at that moment.

I think I have voted 100% on every single challenge since I became a member. Don't remember missing a challenge. Sometimes it can take 2 or 3 days depending on time available and the number of entries. I also visit them again a few times.
I comment when I feel like saying something even if it's one word.
