Finally decided to upgrade. Got it Tuesday, been playing all week. Here are some of my first shots, can't wait to enter some challenges with better equipment, same mind.

Welcome to the club! If you don't have one yet, I strongly reccomend a polarizing filter. That should really make those skies pop. Nice shots. :)

You didn't need a new camera, your photogaphy was very good enough with the 990. Well, at least you didn't get it time for the Ansel Adams challenge. With the scenery you have to work with.....
Congrats on the upgrade Van. I have always thought you put up superior stuff. I'm sure you will contiune your very high standard.

A polorized filters and extension tubes are on my wish list. And more hard drive. Thanks for the comments. Van

Van, the pictures with your new D70 are great!! They all look fantastic.
Jack and I really enjoyed having lunch with you on Wednesday. Hope we can do it again soon along with your family. |

Welcome aboard Van. I know you'll love yours as much as I do mine. Still having a ball discovering its capacity after four months. And with that Co landscape we are all in trouble! Have fun.
