Perhaps photograph from the angle where the steam and the land forms meet. Ideally from the bottom left corner of this image as shown towards the sky. |

I think that I would actually like it better were the man not in the photograph. Nice saturation there. Pretty cool :) |

I like the fact that the guy is there. It provides perspective. So many landscape shots leave you guessing about how big an area you are looking at. |

You could have moved in much closer to the guy for the shot. Also, the fact that he is dead center takes away from the image (rule of thirds). I wonder how such an image would work in black and white?

I agree. If the guy wasn't in there, I would think I was looking off a cliff at some huge landscape, and those hills would be mountains.
