A friend of my wife's asked me to take pictures of her cat. Do you think she'll be happy with these? I know there are a lot of cat lovers here who might be have an opinion.

If this was my cat, I would be happy with the shots. I would, however, have liked a bit more lighting on the eyes. They seem a bit dark to me.

Pretty cool. Why not try dodging the eyes a tad, or selecting them out and feathering the selection then running a levels adjustment on them?

I'll try working on the eyes. There wasn't much light to work with. We went over there for dinner and it was already dark out, so it was just the home lighting and this cat was none to interested in moving around to a better spot. Nice looking cat though.

They are lovely photos. I have no complaints, only something I would like to see in addition: one photo from further away to see the whole cat, preferably engaged in something that is very typical for THAT particular cat to do.

Those are fine close-ups but did she ask for B&W shots?
