| I think the level of golf has gone down a bit when Vijay took #1. Should see it come back strong with the closer grouping of VJ,Tiger and Phil |

How on EARTH can you say the "level has gone down" because one of the world's better golfers has RAISED his level? Now, of course, Phil's raised his as well, and Tiger seems to be back, so right now the level's very high indeed... I wonder how Ernie's gonna respond to all this?
That was a FINE tournament...

Ernie won the European Tournament in Dubai today (yes, I now it's not in Europe). He eagled the last to win.

It was a great tournament, and a great Final Matchup, but the play compared to the first 3 days was kinda sloppy, Phil only shot 3 under on a course that was begging for birdies.
Both got Cocky on 16 and it bit them.
The putt on 17 for tiger was Clutch, and the Chip by Phil on 18 was almost gonna be the Sportscenter Highlight of the year!
It had good drama, but was expecting a bit better play. |
