Went through my archives and found some pictures I took last summer. I think they would fit the Ansel Adam challenge well :) What do you think?

All excellent and would score high.
Unfortunately, we don't have Ansel Adams "worthy" scenery around here, at least within the driving distance I can spare time for, so I'll probably pass on this myself. But I might go out and shoot what I can find anyway. There are supposed to be clouds tomorrow. Today there wasn't one in the sky. |

Ansel Adams shot more than just scenery. The keys to Adams' style were the zone system and dramatic presentation of the subject.

People can say that all they want but voters will likely score scenery higher. If scenery wasnt the intention of the challenge then it should have been named something different to encompass the zone system and dramatic presentation instead. |

Yes, but I'm tired of getting lots of 1s, 2s and 3s for not meeting the challenge in the **voters** eyes. :) |

I love the first one. I'de vote it a 9 at the least, if not a ten. |

I really like "The Day is Done", great shot. In my not-so-expert opinion, the other two are too dark. |

The first one is my favorite, its amazing, it would have done well by me in the challenge, outstanding work, the other two are a tad bit dark in my opinion.
