Ok, I've kind of been in a rutt as far as the challenges are concerned. I've been sitting them out for a while. Not sure if its a lack of eye for the photo im looking for or I just don't have time. Anywho... I've got a new niece since my last challenge entry and I've put up a website. Comments would be appreciated on the layout and the Simpleviewer flash thing.. Oh... and if you could please don't check out the high-resolution images as they are in the 200k range and my friend is kind enough to host the site for me. Unless the pic is a MUST HAVE for you please avoid it. Thanks for any words..

i actually liked the intro image. it wasn't great photography-wise, but it gave it some character. I would definitely put an image there, instead of having it blank.
as for the website, nice design. simple and clean. the people photos are very snap-shotty. I guess it depends on what your website is for. Is it for a portfolio of your best work, or is it for friends, family, etc?
You have some nice shots, but some could definitely be removed if it's for an actual portfolio.

no, not really a portfolio. a lot of the people images are pretty much just snapshots. some aren't even taken by me, but by my camera. it really is just to show the family and friends and such. but its nice to have a few good macros and others on there. thanks for the input.
if anyone else uses Simpleviewer on their site, i'd be interested in knowing how(if) they figured out a way to avoid having the client delete there temp inet files whenever i update the gallery.
