Now that the Ansel Adams challenge is coming to an end, I would like to see other challenges 'In The Style of..",
To start, how about, in the style of
"Jacko" ?

Seriously, if we want to do additional "in the style of" challenges, I'd nominate Henri Cartier-Bresson and Richard Avedon as two that would be fruitful ground.
Or, for a truly weird challenge, how about Diane Arbus? Look her up...

Please God No she might be a fellow Kiwi but please enough is enough,Her stuff is so schmaltzy. If you want a Kiwi Photographer how about the late Robin Morrison Or the late Brian Brake both were awesome photographers and head and shoulders above Geddes. I would geally like to see a challenge based on Robin as he was such an awesome guy and taken too early. so if the powers that be are there how about it . Originally posted by mavrik:

Please no Anne Geddes! PLEASE!!! I'm not going to stick my kid in a hollowed out watermelon and take a picture of that!

I've always wanted my time in the spotlight :-)
Actually my nominations for "style of.." would be Annie Lebowitz..she shot all my favorite rock-n-roll photos (including the very last picture of John Lenon ever). |
