I finally joined DPC last night, and submitted my first photo for approval to DPCPrints. The photo was taken just this morning, and I would like your thoughts on it. BTW, it is supposed to be soft.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the next level of insanity Bill... I like the phot you submitted to DPCPrints, the softness works for me. I also like the warmer tones; most pics shot in these conditions are much cooler in tone. Is the warmth the result of post-processing?

Yes. All that was done out of camera was auto levels, USM, and used a midnight sepia action in photoshop cs. I hope it gets approval and maybe even sell a copy or two, we plan on getting one for ourselves anyway. I have around 40 more from this morning, different locations, etc...I may or may not try some of them as well, with the exception of a mare feeding her foal.
Thanks!

Nobody else have an opinion? I'd really like to hear your input. I have gone in and done my best at removing the white horse behind the buckskin. I'm very much an amateur with photoshop, but did my best.
