If an older macro lens had a 1:0.5 life size rating, with the 1.5 multiplyer of a D70 digital have an effect on the final image rating.
Not sure if I have explained that right so I hope you understand. A 35-105 AF zoom with macro lens has a 1/2 life size image when used as a macro but that is with a film camera, what happens when its on a digital camera will it increase the size to say 3/4 life size?

think it's more allong the lines of 1:1 is
still 1:1 even with the crop factor
the 1.5 multiplier effect is only the frame size
of course it is a smaller frame -
but it doesn't 'magnify' the objet more or less)
