Desert wildflowers:

Though it is still cold and snowy in the East, springtime in the desert is breaking out all over.
It is predicted that heavy rains in the Southwest will bring one of the best wildflower seasons of the last 50 years.

I have no idea what the tiny yellow ones are. But some of the varieties pictured in the gallery are are lupines, California golden poppies, Mexican Goldenpoppy, Brittlebush, globemallow, Desert Bells and Phacelia. There are probably others too. :)

Found out what the tiny yellow wildflowers are... Fiddleneck.
I identified the ones I know in at least one image in the PBase gallery. There will be hundreds more appear as the season progresses.
