Im looking for any html code that will display jpeg2000 image format in the browser similar to the IMG tag I already have a plugin that will display the images but Im curious if theres a html tag that will do the same? of course an image tage looks like this



wondering what the tag is for the jpg2000 image format

From what I have read most browsers don't support jpeg 2000.

I think this is a chicken and egg kind of thing, there are no jpeg 2000 files on web pages so the broweser people don't see why they shoud support it, there is not support so you can't use jpeg 2000 files on your web pages.

I have not been all the impressed with jpeg 2000, I think if falls far short of the early claims that were being made for it, still it would be nice to be able to use on web pages.

I'm not really sure about html code, but there is a plug in for IE called zoomify, I think the website is simpley //www.zoomify.com
You may also want to check out //www.aperio.com which mainly do medical jp2 stuff, but they may have some kind of browser(?).
