Hope someone can help.

I know there's some people outthere especialized in shooting arquitecture and stuff like that.

I've been contacted by an imobiliary agency to shoot for them so they can put good photos in their website and in their promocional cathalogues. But que doubt is how am I going tho charge for it? For shooting session? for picture?

If anyone has already done such kind of jobs or knows the market please let me get an idea of the numbers.

thanks.

It's impossible to advise you on how to charge for this without more information. For example, you haven't said how many shots they need. We don't know how wide is the distribution of their "promotional catalogue", nor do we know what it is they are promoting. We don't know who the client is nor what their business is. We don't know if they're an established firm or a startup. We don't know if they've selected you because they think you're the best, or if they came to you because you're just startiung out and will be less expensive.

Actually, the least important thing is the one thing you DID tell us; they want you to shoot "architecture"... That's essentially irrrelevant because the issue is how much time you spend and what your time is worth, with a multiplier added based on the use they will make of your work.

More info, please...

When we hire a photographer we know more or less how many photos we want and pay for the photo session or sessions ( usually determined by time). If anyone told me they'd determine the price by the results, I would look elsewhere. Thier portfolio would tell me what they're capabilities are. What we are going to do with the photos is our business. I'll let them know for production purposes but it shouldn't have any effect on the price. Listen to the bear, more info is needed. Hope it helps. Good luck.

Their a well astablished firm that sells houses - I don't know if imobliary agency is a correct translation. They used to have a digitla camera to take snapshots of the homes when they go to talk with the people who wants to sell it. But they have received lots of complains about how bad the photos look over the internet and in their cathalogues. So they wand best qualaty shots to help them to show the best in their products (houses and so).

I imagine that they don't neeed to much photos of the same house, and I don't know the volume of work that I'll be getting from them, because this is just for the fun of it and has a part time.

I have the D70 with the 18-70 kit lenses and the f1.8D 50mm, two SB800 to set one as masteer and other as slave if needed.

if you can comment the material too I would appreciate it.
