I live in Iceland and highway billboard (those large signs you see on the side of the road). are not permissible in Iceland, we Icelander are really sorry not bee exactly like US but we are trying hard so therefore we ask you american to tolerate us as human been, still I will still try to take part in this posting, dam hard not to be a American, Icerock..
Ps. I think CHALLENGE need to be more world wide !!! I know it is harder to think so .. !!!

I wish they were illegal here. Maybe we should try to be more like Icelanders.

One good not having them you can easily take picture out of your car window on 70 miles whit out any problem :)

Hi IceRock,

Just because you don't have billboards in iceland shouldn't really effect your ability to enter. I mean, you know what they are and what they look like. Not seeing 100's on your way to the office each morning might even help you be more creative in your interpretation. Good luck.

Remember this challenge is not to take a photo *of* a billboard, but to take a photo you might expect to see "on" a billboard.

You should still be able to come up with something even though they don't have billboards in Iceland.

And for us icelanders who don't remember what they look like we can just google it

Thanks for pointing this out for me and this is typical " me " not reading challenge note truly also small language barrier so here I go my work I did to day not good for this :(

I'm in Italy and they have billboards all over, usuwally with the hottest girls wearing close to nothing. Let's just say these kind wouldn't be allowed back home (US)!

they aren't allowed in Vermont, USA either...

one of those subtle things you may only notice subconciously when visiting.
