It wasn't all that much. Mostly melted as it hit the ground, but it was more than some people expected when they left home this morning.

And now they're gonna have a cold seat on the way home.

really odd light on that shot, I like it. Sodium-vapor lamps?

lol looks familiar. Except when I left my top off, it wasn't snowing, it rained this HUGE downpour of like 2 inches in about 20 minutes. Worst part -- I was 2 miles up the road where it wasn't raining in a restaurant. my jeep was filled with water -- everywhere!

Happened to me once, when I went for a pack of cigarettes, and forgot the sunroof open!

The interior was kinda dirty anyways, so it's all good :-)

Yup, the light is kinda wierd. It was in the parking lot of a community college where there is a high pole with a light shining down behind the jeep providing the yellow color to the background. The light from the front was much cooler and dimmer. I'm not saying it's a great photo, it just caught my attention when I drove by. I had the 85 1.8 on my 20D and cranked the ISO to 1600. I was surprised it came out as good as it did considering the conditions.

I would hazard a guess that those lights are high pressure sodium.... very common in security type applications...

Right ray, that's what I suggested too. Definitely sodium lamps.

I remember being on a road trip a couple of times in my old convertable and driving through downpoars with the top down. I just rolled the windows up and kept on driving. It was either get misted while driving or stopping and getting poared on. We kept going until we found a bridge to park under.
