What do you need to know?
I've not used one personally, but a chap who lives about 5k from here has one, and I can always use an excuse to go try his coffee and hostpitality this weekend...
Cheers, Me.

I have a body I bought about five years ago that I have never used. No lens. No finder. No film. Just a bare body. Should the the shutter trip? Mine doesn't and I don't know if it is supposed to act like this without it being assembled or if it is broken. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi-ho...
First, an assumption on my part... This is a Pentax 6x7 SLR we're talking about?
I rang the chap I know with one, and he asked if it's a 'II' model or not?
Apparently the Mk II uses a solenoid for the mirror lift, and they can crap out. If the solenoid dosn't work the shutter wont fire.
If it's a 'II' He suggsted to enable mirror lock up, carefully lift the mirror and see if the shutter will fire.
The other semi-obvious question is, seeing as it's obvoiusly got electronic in it, is the battery good?
Cheers, Me.

This is the original 6x7, not the MkII. Battery check is good and no mirror lock-up option.
