Thought I'd share a few shots from today's trip to the zoo. I think I even got my light on white today but I'll wait to share that one...

Very nice animal shots. I love the zebra one. :-)
It's really hard to control white balance in the snow, so you might want to separate the snow from the rest of the shot when editing these photos (but not the otter one, which came out perfect). I think some of the images could use more contrast, but that might leave the snow looking blown out, so if you edit them separately you might have a better chance of getting the look you want. Still, these are really nice zoo shots - thanks for sharing them . :-)

| the zebra one is awsome, its just too bad its a touch blurry, and that it has such an unapeeling backround. but the pose is wonderful |

| Thanks for all the comments. I tried extracting the zebras in photoshop 6 (still can't afford CS), but the stripes are driving me crazy! I'll try again later but if anyone has any ideas... |

the zebra shot cracks me up :-)
My only advice that pretty much applies to most/all of these shots would be to get closer. I know it's hard at the zoo, but filling the frame would help the composition of a lot of these. |

| the zebra reminds me of the *push-me-pull-you* character (although it was a llama) from the old dr. doolittle stories/movie. very cool. :) |
