		| | We get our share of summer storms here in Australia but this storm formation and particular these clouds were amazing . I haven't seen anything like it for some time. The wind gusted and the clouds were swirling so fast, it was amazing and I had to grab the camera. I took these out front and back of my house. Good timing as this formation was gone in 5 minutes as the storm set in ! These are straight from the camera no photoshop yet, any suggestions maybe to improve them, or best left as is :-)

		| | wow they are pretty cool pictures of the clouds. Probably a nice modest dose of sharpening could help and maybe adjust curves a bit.

		| | Interesting formations, and an odd greenish tinge in the first one.
Were there any hail or tornadoes reported as part of this storm?

we don't get tornadoes here.....I'd love to see one I'm so fascinated by them. Awesome power ! We did get small hail stones briefly but nothing compared to what I expected just by looking at it !

The first hit in quick Google search mentions a possible 2 tornadoes in the Sydney suburbs on 02 February.

That is interesting Terry that they mention tornadoes... Australia is simply not renowned for them and I have never known one yet or seen one on the news. Anything is possible though. I said to my husband that a funnel look liked it may form that's how bad it looked. We are an hour south of Sydney and never seem to get the storms as bad as they do. A lot of bad damage is caused from these storms in Sydney that seem to pass us !

This was a few days back Lisa and the ones out to sea are called water spouts which look similar to a small tornado.

		| | Currently live in OKC and storm season will be here shortly. If we get some good ones I'll post them. I hope to do some storm chasing this year. I moved hear March 2003 and we had tornadoes on the 8 and 9 of May. Luckily I was in a bar and got in the cooler with all the other patrons. Couldn't get home for 6 hours due to the damage and police blockades. |

		| | Hey I I have some dramatic shot of some storm clouds I'd to share as well. Never mind the image quality. I had to shoot fast and run for cover. This front came in a hurry..However, it was alwsome to see in person.

		| | those are pretty damn cool. Looks like a wave rolling in. What became of that storm? Love watching stormclouds. Grew up on the eastern plains of CO and weather was kind of a hobby. Spring coming...woohoo...storm chasing time. Few of mine.
