Anyone have any thoughts? Too centered? Too setup? Just plain bad? Too blown out?

I LOVE Purity peanut butter kisses!! mmmmmm

The sides of the bowl are blown out, other than that I like it. Depends if you were going for something commercial or not.

I thnk the centered comp works (at least it does for me). I would prefer a bit less contrast and saturation. I'm also wondering whether a slight angle on the jar might work a bit better. I'm not sure, would have to see it. I know I would like to see the back of the rim just defined, not completely blown out.

My only criticism is that the color of the shadows is a little bit weird for me. Get that darker and this will be better for me, but thats just me being a nitpick. I also agree with the above about highlights.

I'm going to rework this eventually. Ideally I'd like to shoot it on a light box so I can get a nice clean even BG and retain the detail in the glass. I know I can probably achieve the same thing in PS with enough editting. Opinions welcome. Thanks.

Compositionally it's perfectly ok. Some subjects virtually cry out for symmetrical composition, and this is one. Technically, it's fairly weak, with the glass blown out and, even worse, the white kisses on top blown out dramatically. The shadows are strange too. So it needs some work.
