Hey scuds, I liked the pain in the S photo, I thought it was hysterical. I see some people got a little bit offended. Where is their sense of humor?!

I agree. Some strange comments where people seem to have mis-understood the PAIN challenge description thinking it was EMOTIONAL PAIN. It was the emotion PAIN.

I tried really hard to think "outside the box" on this one to avoid the obvious cliches, and I really like the picture I chose. It's interesting, because those who "get it" seem to be scoring it well, but as the comments indicate, it's not as clear to others as it is to me. But then, what else is new? I was at 7.3333 when I went to bed last night, and it's lower now. I'll see where it is at 100 or so votes. (btw, I've noticed my VOTING is relatively high on this challenge - there are some excellent images out there!! Good work everyone and good luck on the challenge!) :)

I haven't commented or voted on any of the separation pics yet, but I just had to tell you that I LOVE your last name, that is hysterical!! What did your family do in days gone by to earn that surname?? lol

Haha! Thanks! I find it hysterical when someone recognizes my last name. Only people from Italy, people who speak, or understand the language pretty much knows what it means. Yes there is a big story behind the name that's why Helen Of Troy happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Shhh keep the meaning a secret LOLOL

thank you very much Graziana. Your comment makes me very happy, cz I see that ppl see the picture in another way as well, not only been "gross" or "hairy" as said.

ps: do you come from a "latin" family? I can tell that by the name, and also by the looks, you're gorgeous! (blush) hhehe

LOL, yes my parents were born in Sicily, I happen to be first generation. Thank you!

Why do I let my creativity fool me into thinking this time it will get it right. I see an image and think.. hmmm.. yes..xyz..mcsquared divided by zappo filter and kazaam.. deep artism that the populace will be in awe of. Then the threes and fours line up delivering merciless reality. Im going to a Kodak show for the next challenge....

I am looking at my scores and only wish there was a mechanism where I could just simply remove my photo from the competition. The image is in focus, is not that disturbing to look at and from my perspective not warranting the scores it is garnishing at present.

I do honestly believe that to save myself the aggravation, I will from seriously consider whether I will submit to future challenges.

Well, this will be my third challenge, and I'm still hoping to break 5 soon. (So far I'm at 4.8002 on this one)

So yours is looking good for a first challenge.
