Hey everyone, what's up? I'm new to the forum so I thought I'd take a minute to stop and say hi to everyone from Canada. I'm fairly new to photography, at least beyond your typical snap shot. I purchased a Kodak DX7630 in January and I must say I'm quite pleased with the results, although not an SLR I think it's a good place to start since there are a lot of functions to work with.
This is actually my second digi. cam. My first one was a HP PhotoSmart 215 which was about 1.3MP so it's a far cry from my current camera which is 6.1MP. |

Hi! And welcome! Big night tonight...the results of the Member challenge "Self Portrait III" are about to roll over at midnight (server time) and a new challenge will follow. Those brave enough to enter "Separation" will have their images posted for voting at that time too. (Tuesday's the big night for registered users.)
This is a great place to come, participate and learn. It has its own idiosychrosies which take a little while to understand and adjust to. Take a good look around--read lots--use all the links you can find (there are tons)--and enjoy.
