		| | What do you think of this little bird. I know it is dark, but it is hand held through my upstairs window.

		| | Looks pretty good. Did you apply processing or sharpening, was it taken raw, etc? Closeup it looks soft.
That's a woodpecker by the way. One of those exact ones was a pain in my rear in my last house--destroyed a bunch of my cedar shakes, and wouldn't stop making holes in my house!

		| | Hard to handhold a 70-200 f4 in that sort of lighting. Nice picture.
This is the first picture I took with my new 70-200 (in daylight at least!)
 !

 Enjoy your 'L' glass lens!

		| | I had to crop, dodge, adjust levels, adjust brightness and contrast, I did not sharpen and will try that. Thanks all for the comments.

For an unsharpened image it looks fine then. (That's why I asked.)

If you use photoshop, try the free 10finisher action for sharpening. I don't have the link but search the forums here, there's a link, or a quick google will find it.

Here is the sharpened image. I am still new to Photoshop 7. I have been using Elements 2.0 until recently.
