i am just starting out, and i hope that some of you would be kind enough to look over a few of my photos and tell me what you think. everyone here seems really nice and helpful, and i have seen some amazing work so far.

Good stuff. Your photos have good focus. I especially like the outdoor shots. You should start submitting to the challenges. It's fun. I hope you don't have a thin skin. Voting is all over the place. Most comments are constructive. Some people will tell you that your photos stink for no apparent reason. As long as you like them, that's what counts. From what I saw, you have a nice eye for subject matter. Welcome to DPC!

Hey those are some great photos you got there. I really like the one of the cat on top of the monitor.

You have some nice photos. Keep shooting. Since it was so easy for me to get wrapped up in my subject, I had to learn a little trick. You might find it helpfull. Just before you take the photo, let your eye run around the edge of the view finder to make sure you don't have anything in the photo that you don't want. It will also help with keeping your horizon level and your building edges straight.
