Would appreciate some thoughts on which lens to purchase of these 3 lenses. My use for this lens would be as my primary carry around lens. I would compliment it with the 70-200 f4, 50 f1.8, and would want to get a wide angle lens as well, which I am also having a hard time deciding on. Leaning toward the Canon 20mm. Thanks in advance.

I have every lens you mentioned except the 28-135 IS. The Tamron and 70-200 are my favorites. The 28-105 hasn't been on my camera once since I got the Tamron.
Walkaround: Tamron 28-75 f/2.8
Outdoor: Canon 70-200 f/4 L (with or without 1.4X TC)
Low light: Canon 50 f/1.8
Wide angle: Canon 17-40 f/4L

Just got the following:
Canon 70-200mm f/4L
Tamron 28-75mm XR Di f/2.8
I read excellent reviews for both of these lenses and they cover a huge range. The tamron lense is very sharp and a constant f/2.8. This lens can be used for portraits and a carry around lens. Definitely my pick!

Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC or Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 for walkaround,
I think the Tamron is better if you want to do more people photography, and the Sigma gives a wider angle.. ie architecture- landscape or maybe group photos. Having a hard time myself in making a choice on my next lens :)

I had the Canon 28-135 for a year and a half. It was a great lens; great detail and color at all focal lengths. I recently sold it to buy the Tamron 28-75. ...Not that one is better than the other. I just needed a faster lens at the "normal" range, which is what the Tamron is giving me. While I lost the 75-135 range of the Canon, I have that covered with the Canon 70-200 F4/L. Speed was my deciding factor.
