I dont know how to check my PMs? If someone sends a PM to me where do I check them? I know its a stupid question.

go to the e-mail you left when you register on the site...
usually it's the mail you use.

PM's are emailed to your email address on record.
If you did not receive a PM you should have, first check your spam or junk mail filter to see if it was blocked in error, then check to make sure your email address is set correctly in your preferences.

also when you reply to a PM, click the link in the email you receive to properly reply, it will bring you back to DPC to write the response to the PM. If you reply to the email notice of a PM, then i goes off to never never land and not the place it should go

Another question - till yesterday I could see an option to 'reply to post' i.e. individual posts but now its just shows a general 'post reply' button only. how come?

I'm not sure this is what you saw as we've never had a 'reply to post' feature. There is a 'quote' button so that you may automatically quote another post but only a generic 'post reply' button. |
