Is the white balance adjustment on the 20D similar to the D70 in terms of ease of access? I'm having a heck of a time deciding on which system to go with. |

do you have lenses or any knowledge of either more than the other?.
Edit: And oh, to answer your question, yes it is simple. Assuming it's the same as the DRebel, you press menu, go down to Custom White Balance, choose the picture to sample from (the most recent one shows), and then you set your white balance on Custom.

Thats the way set set custom wb. If you just want to use the presets there is a dedicated button on the top of the camera you push then turn the dial to chose the mode you want.
It's pretty easy! |

I have been doing research for the last couple of months. I had an old Nikon 6006, but pretty much starting from scratch. I actually like the Canon images, lenses, and it seems I could get more support here because so many people use the Canon. The Nikon is a little cheaper, has a decent kit lens and seems a little more user friendly. Also I like Nikon's flash system, it seems to work better. I am waiting for the 350D to come out to see if that pushes me off the fence. Any feedback is greatly appriciated. |

20D and D70 are almost the same. Each has its own advantages.
Good link to read about it:
