I notice a lot of folks putting up goals for themselves in their profiles, and I thought it might be amusing to give myself something specific to aim for my the end of the year ... only I can't decide what it should be.

This is beyond the 'more ribbons', score an '8' (ha ha, like of course). Those are givens, really.

Anyone want to make any suggestions for me?

I'm going for the Pulitzer too!

If you dont want DPC-specific goals then you have to decide what you want to accomplish and set appropriate goals for that.

Published in a magazine. Gallery exhibit with others. Solo gallery exhibit. X amount of stock images sold. X amount of profit from portrait/wedding/event shooting. 500 portfolio worth small birds or any other specific subject you shoot.

No. I want you to remain undecided, without aim or ambition, wandering about your indeterminable ways. I should wish you an enormous restlessness, unbearable boredoms in the tedious dispute of the eternitity of every one of your waking seconds until you are so overwhelmed, enraged or exasperated that you will do what any man would do. You will come to yourself with all that you are, so that whatever obstacles remain be levelled by the full force of your (presently) dormant convictions.

If then, you have something to say or do, you will, I have no doubt, act on it. ;-)
