| We need a firmware hack that will allow us to do curves and levels and RAW adjustments in camera. Is that so much to ask? :p |

The 1st hack made the 300d like a 10D maybe this time like the 20D :)

I see that RAW in sports mode was mentioned there. What about the all-important servo focus in all other modes than sports?

| Yes thanks!! Becoming a Dad certainly put the photography on hold for a while, but I intend to start DPChallenging a lot more now. Came 53rd in the pain challenge and I am quite happy with that. |

If you want all those features in Basic Mode, why not just use the P mode with the Wasia hack?
