Ben very kindly sent me the directions how to do sepia using ps. WOW had never investigated the Adjustments->variations before. Cool!!

Would love some comments on how it looks on your monitors, how to improve.

if you're using variations, click on 'shadows' and darken a notch or two. that will increase the contrast a little without darkening the image as a whole. of course...i really like contrasty images, so take my ideas with a grain of salt.

edit to correct atrocious typos.

ok, just tried that but ended up with a very red image. Hmmmmmm technique needs more work!
