Took this of Adam while he is watching his big brother play the xbox - used the 50mm F1.8 lens, set at 2.8 and ISO of 400, used neat image .. what do you think...

you used a little too much NeatImage, I guess

The NeatImage has taken away all the texture. Too heavy handed on the NeatImage for my tastes.
Has a good range through the greys though and good focus.

nice tones ... the dark areas under his eyes are an easy fix if photoshop with the band-aid lookin' tool thing :) as is, he looks very tired

and i'll agree with the others, little too much neatimage

I have seen a lot worse, I personally like it.
Maybe use NI on a duplicate layer then reduce the opacity of that layer until you reach the result you want?
Love the eyes,I would clone out the sweat under his nose,or whatever :)
Nice work,
Paul.

It's a nice shot except there's too much NI, he looks like he's molded out of plastic.

It's a nice shot of your nephew, but it has an overall very grey hue..as in, not a lot of contrast. I actually, in this case, don't mind the NI as much and I usually hate it.

Am I seeing things or does he need to blow his nose?
