I've dealt with the sort of harassment discussed in the folowing article myself, from my own neighbors, in my own neighborhood. I wish I were able to stand up for my rights as determinedly and eloquently as the man in this situation does.

Attack Of The SF MUNI Fare Inspectors

These days I carry with me a number of copies of The Photographer's Right (mentioned in the link) in my camera bag, with my name and address clearly stamped on them, as a method to defuse conflict. I have found that giving people my contact information generally soothes them, as absurd as it is for anyone to trust your word about your address when they mistrust your intentions with a camera.

Stand up for our rights!

Thanks for the articles.

Your rights are in danger, Bush urges renewal of Patriot Act. Write your Senator or Congressman and tell them NO to rolling back our civil liberties via the Patriot Act //www.house.gov/writerep/.
