Can someone tell me what the difference is between a 300d and a 300d rebel. I am still looking on ebay and was wondering what the difference is if any.

In north america is a Rebel. In europe it is a KISS. Regardless, it is technically an EOS 300D.
EOS is the canon name for their SLRs, film or digital
300 is consumer level SLR (10 and 20 advanced amature and 1 is Pro level)
D is digital

thanks guys
i was looking on ebay at a 300d rebel. I wasnt sure to be skeptical or not. Because i dont know my cameras that well i didnt want the wool pulled over my eyes. I knew if i asked here i would get the answer i needed.

I don't think you will get it for no 7 or 8 hundred dollars though.

| i am just doing research at the moment. Checking what is around and for how much. The 300d is certainly looking favourable because i also have a 300n and a few lens going to waste lately. So i will be able to put them to use. |

350XT, 8.2MP and this week? I heard early march, but regardless, soon. I bet it will go for $999.
You might get a rebel 300D on clearance if yoy can hang tight. Used ones will prolly not drop in price much or flood the market. When i was looking (dec 04) i thought i might get a D30 or D60 cheap...nope.
