Hey all, I got a quick question.

What is the difference between the 50 1.8 and the 50 1.8D

Is one better than another for the D70? Thanks : )

Not sure there is a diff. I got the 1.8 (happens to be a D) for $76. May have to get a new one, though, after the dog and 2 year old knocked over the camera "broke it." Jarred it so it is crooked and won't focus. Think the warranty on that won't be covered, or cost more than a new one. Waaaaaaaaaa!

a lot of manufacturers use D to designate for digital use.
