I´m doing a map for my application in photo degsign and one of the theme i got was abstract (calm)
I was thinking about something like this but i´m not really sure??
Can you maby honestly tell my what you think and what i could do better.
I´m not so sure about this.

On my monitor at least, there seems to be a little noise in the area on the right - I don't know if you meant it to be there, but the longer I look at the picture, the more it seems to stand out. Also I would like to see the centre of the picture a bit sharper, although the apparent softness may well be a by-product of resizing for the web. You mention 'abstract (calm)' in your post. I don't get the impression of calmness immediately from this picture. I do like it, it's a very interesting shot. Just offering a few (perhaps misguided) thoughts.

I think i will do something else or try to do it better.
What other coulor then blue gives a calm feeling?
hmmm... It´s a pretty hard theme.
I guess it will be my hardest one.
Than i got one theme that is "paper"

The blue tones are nice and calm, I think that's the right approach. Think of waves, the ocean, a calm beach, and then abstract that feeling.
As to critical review, here the content of your shot is a bit too close to reality so I am "anchored" to what I know, and I don't see it as abstract. The issue for me is that it looks too much like a water drop on it's side. That of course makes my brain keep saying, this is oriented wrong, and of course, that isn't calming.
Something with pure colors can be relaxing. What do you think about this on that theme:
