Okay, so a few months ago I bought the domain name //www.thatcloudthere.com for $7/year from 1&1.

Now, I figure I might as well begin building a web page. I don't need it to be incredibly fancy, but I want a clean look to it. Would you recommend this package for hosting/building?

1&1

If not, help me out...what would you recommend?

I use 1&1 (UK) to host my sites and have had no problems. I don't use their web creator, so can't comment on that.

Not sure about that one, but I've used PowWeb several times over the years and have had good luck with their services. In particular their management control center is easy to use and they have a very active user forum that has always had an answer and examples for anything I posed to them.

I don't think 1&1 provides php hosting for their $4.00 plan.

Web Site Source

I use these guys. They have lots of features with the 6.85/mo plan.

Dream Host

If you do go with 1&1 go with their non-MS hosting.
