looks cool but for some reason the galleries won't load for me..well they start to but then stop. I also have little patience so I might've closed it while it was still in progress.

The galleries are not working for me either - Top 2 and bottom 2 show only half a photo - middle row is ok but nothing happens when I click on them.

WOW! Mel, great work! Your resume is pretty impressive; a lot of companies using your stock images. I'm so proud! hahahahaha you look like you've been busy :-)

hey there eric, the site looks really good. The wedding couples must be happy with the shots you got. Everything came up for me, and quickly. What size are you files?... mine don't seem to come up that fast.

my only 2 cents.. is i wasn't too fond of the <> on the bottom... it seems so programer like... and not user friendly icon like, if that made any sense...

anyhow.. great site.

hey leaf,
i saved my images at 450 px at the longest, then did a "file/save for web" this optimizes them to about 40-50 k each. I checked yours out, and the images are loading really slowly. Try opening the original up in PS and doing a save for web. this should work

yeah, i did do a save for web... not sure why they are going so slow... could be that i don't have a very fast server, or that i don't have much bandwith available for uploads on my internet connection.. hmm.....:S

Self build, 3mhz, 1gb ram, running xp pro (sp2) browsing with firefox. Flash is turned off and whilst I can view great images (in your alternative wedding albums) there is no navigation.

thanks everyone for looking, I've made some changes if anyone want's to help out by checking it.

I've added 2 options, enter flash galleries, and enter regular galleries.
I know the regular galleries work on nearly everyones browsers, but it's the flash galleries i'm needing validation for.

heres the link: click on the link that says "enter flash galleries"

Thanks again!!!

the flash gallery is being butchered in firefox.

this has happened on someone elses flash gallery and some quick fixes to the CSS properties fixed the problem. However, looking through your code, i dont see the CSS control the actual positioning of the flash which was the previous problem. But CSS does render differently in Firefox and IE, so play around with it a bit.

good luck.

yeah.. the flash didn't load properly in firefox.
it put everything at the top of the screen so i could hardly seen it. The display image was very small at the top.. and i could only seea couple rows of thumbnails.

Eric, the website is gorgeous. No kinks anywhere for me - and i checked out ALL the pages, just to see the wonderful shots.

I think i fixed that problem. would someone check again? on page 3 in firefox, i get text where it shouldn't be!
But not in IE of safari.
strange stuff, wish they would make everythin universal!

Eric, the flash galleries don't change shots when you hover like the regular ones.

Also, you might reconsider putting << >> around the menu items -- why are you doing that? If you want them to look like buttons but want to use text, [this] or even might look better, but I am not sure either is necessary, and it's not done consistently in any case. Only the menu below on the flash page really has these in "droves" (and look at the spacing):

<> << INFO>> << CONTACT >> <> <> <> <> <>

thanks for all the advice, and thanks neil for testing the contact form. that took me most of the day to figure out the coding! drove me crazy...
I downloaded firefox to check the new flash galleries out, and i think i fixed the bug. i've also tested it on a PC running windows XP, and on a mac running safari and IE 5. seems to work. I'm doubtful that it will actually work on netscape though, but have changed the bottom frame so people having problems viewing can be re-directed to my old layout.
