I don't know what's going on but, the system is not accepting my credit card. I didn't try paypal, cz I think it ain't gonna work for non-US residents.

Any other way I can become a member, with full access?

I successfully used paypal and I'm a closet European.

I guess I found out why. Called up my bank and my card, which was supposed to be an international one, is not! So I can't buy anything in USD.
Sheesh......so much foy my membership.

There's always a way.

I wasn't ready for paypal when I wanted to join. So I contacted the site owners using the Help/Contact link: Drew and Langdon contact link They sent me the info so I could write a personal check--I do live in the U.S. so your results may vary.

Don't give up on your quest for membership--it really is worth every penny and more!

I do have some checks from the Atlantic bank (of when i used to live in tampa) and I think I had something like 30-40 bucks on the account.
Think I can mail one of those?
IF, and I said, IF my account still exists hehe. Haven't had any withdraw or deposit, or movement at all since july 2002.

Any way that can be checked out? If the account still exists?

You'll have to contact the bank from the info on the checks you have. There is also the method of getting a cashiers check from a bank in USD, and sending it to them that way. (or an international money order, if they're available.)

Weeeeee, I can actually send money orders through Banco do Brasil (the national bank). It'll be something like R$ 65,00 (local currency) for the U$ 25.
R$ 5,4166666666 a month! A beer and a pack of marlboros! I guess I can live with one less of those a month! :-D

Sheesh,

In USA we pay 25 dollars a year, equals just over 2 dollars a month. A pack of cigarettes goes for just over 5 dollars, and a beer for over a dollar; call it $6.50 a month for a beer and a pack of cigarettes. You guys got it CHEAP down there.

The accound should still exist but might be in dormant status, unless dormant account fees have wiped out the balance. A call to the bank should resolve the issue -- the question is whether it's more costly than it's worth.

U$ 6.5 equals to R$ 17,87. with that I can buy a 12-pack and 2 marlboros. Or 3 6-pack and call it a night!! heheheh
