I apologize if these questions have been asked here before (I tried the search :)
About online stock photography:
1) What are "sub-agents"?
2) What are "stand alone" images? Does that mean that the are exclusive to one site?
And (I'm sure that's been asked before, but I can't come up with a clear answer):
How is it that at some agencies pictures go for a couple dollars and at others for hundreds of dollars, how would something like that work? It doesn't make sense.
