Another from a recent assignment for a Catholic publication I sometimes freelance for. Had some fun with a long lens at relatively close range.
Cam: Canon 10D @ ISO200
Lens: 70-200mm f/2.8L IS @ 200mm
Aperture: F6.3
Shutter: 1/200
550ex Used for fill via ETTL dialed down 2.66 stops.

Great detail. That white speck under the eye is distracting. I think I would edit that out. Great otherwise. |

I really like this type of shot... this is a great photo, very clear. And without knowing the guy, it seems to capture a bit of his personality. Well done.

this is a great shot. The priest looks like a biker with that doorag on.
I only wish he was looking directly into the camera. Usually I like portraits that aren't so posed or direct, but in his case, i would love to look straight into his eyes. Excellent detail though. And nice subject. |
